So I’m enjoying my first of 3 days off, sitting on my couch and rotting to some mindless television like I deserve to be, when a new Geico Insurance commercial comes up plugging free ringtone downloads…
fo serious? like kudos for bringing the gecko back, I like that little guy, but ringtones from your insurance company? hmm, gotta check this out. So I did, there’s only 1 that I’d actually put on my ringtone rotation ( Somebody’s Watching Me lol), but who knows, you might like one of the others, and if you dont, I’ve also added a link below to mobile9 & Zedge. They’re great places for finding free ringtones, wallpapers, themes and even games (*use the games at your discretion, i’m not responsible for bad files) and I’ve used them for quite some time without any issues, spam or stupid Premium SMS scams, just download the file to your computer and transfer it to your device from the PC.

On a side note, wtf is up with Rogers Cable changing the menu when you press guide? now I’ve gotta press the button 3 times to get to the guide? what if I don’t care about games, self service and daily essentials? cuz I really don’t, give me my guide, after all I did press guide, not menu, but guide, so show me the damn guide when I press the button!!!! grr.

My friend and I were recently talking about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don’t mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside… I just hope that as memory gets cheaper, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It’s one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
